NU People Magazine Second Issue

Sooo, the second issue of NU People magazine is done! I am so proud to be a part of a movement that I actually believe in, not everybody has that chance. It will be available as a PDF version from Saturday and in print very soon as it went to print today in fact! I will keep you posted about all the deets but please take a look at the newly revamped website via the link above. NU People is a publication about lifestyle, culture and community.

Sinclair London

A good good friend of mine has finally launched her website for Sinclair London a bespoke tailoring service for men and women (which I took the pictures for!). Having trained at Saville Row and worked with the likes of Ozwald Boateng Alicya Sinclair has worked incredibly hard to get to this point and I have no doubt that she will continue to grow and thrive in her greatest passion! I had the pleasure of photographing an exhibition she recently held of 12 hand crafted pieces, I will add some pictures soon! Take a look at her website via the link above.

Catwalk 4 Change

As part of the NU People Magazine team the fashion editor Mariam Bashorun and I attended a catwalk show at the Waterlily in Mile End called Catwalk 4 Change a charity event which takes place to celebrate diversity and challenge the ideals set in place within the fashion industry about beauty, age and ethnicity. Check out the website via the link above!

Dedication....

So this week has been crazy! From photographing a baby's dedication to a catwalk show it has been immense....kind of threw me out of my comfort zone....in a good and productive way. I had the job of photographing the most beautiful baby boy during his dedication, and then onto the reception at the Kingswood Estate in West Dulwich which is an amazing venue with a truly historic feel.
