Identity overhaul

Since giving birth to my son in 2014, KZA Photography naturally has taken a backseat as I focused on settling into the crazy world of motherhood which ultimately inspired me to set up my own company called Mother Nature's Recipes which is dedicated to supporting mums on their journey. I steadily began to take on more corporate photography work and decided it was time to completely revamp the KZA brand. I hadn't changed anything since 2012 and the logo and pricing guide had become outdated with time. My good friend Katrina Clark added her magic touch and created a lovely new sleek logo as well as a uniform pricing guide which matched the more mature style of the website. She made various other recommendations which led to the redesign of the blog as well as a completely new business card which I can't wait to release upon completion.

Katrina is a fantastic graphic designer who always has an eye for what I like stylistically, I trust her wholeheartedly with all of my design projects and she's so enthusiastic which just inspires my own creativity. Visit her blog below for examples of her other work.

Money Advice Service

Last week I took some photographs of board members for the Money Advice Service. This is the second time I have had the opportunity to work with them, it feels good to be slowly getting back into the photography world!

Dunelm

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the grand opening of the Dunelm store in Colliers Wood. With beautiful homeware goods at fantastic prices alongside a genuine team spirit, it was a great event to be a part of and I have been asked to photograph the Catford opening in December which I look forward to!

Time is of the essence...

It has been an incredibly long time since my last post, mummy hood has taken over my life for the past year and I haven't been taking on many photography jobs lately. As my munchkin is getting older, I'm starting to put myself back in the mix and I recently photographed my first wedding! I was the second photographer on the day which took the pressure off as I was incredibly nervous but it was lovely to be part of a moment that will live forever in so many peoples lives. I have some more jobs coming up in the near future and I promise to start posting more regularly again as they do!

Post-natal post….

Well, well, well…..I can't believe I haven't posted anything on my blog since December, especially as it will soon be December again. How time flies as you get older and hopefully wiser. Since December I have had a baby boy and was working full time in preparation of his arrival.

However, I managed to squeeze in a photoshoot with my favourite mother and baby. I have had the great pleasure of photographing beautiful baby Caitlin since she was a wee tot and it amazes me seeing how much she has changed each time.

There's nothing like documenting a human life in photographs.

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing the most energetic, hilarious, gorgeous little boy named Thomas, he kept me laughing for the entire 2 hours!

NRN xmas party...

It's that time of year, everyone is having Christmas parties and I was asked by my very good friend Casey Downie-Campbell, owner of NRN to take a few snaps of her festive get together at The Regent in Balham. It was a pleasure to meet some of her team and really capture the Christmassy energy of the evening!
